We always pray that it will not happen. But things do happen in a blink of an eye. We blink, and they are gone!
What a terrible panicky feeling. Some people can’t think clearly when they panic.
So ask yourself now… Am I prepared?
Most people are not.
To be prepared, make sure your pet is wearing their tags at all times. Plus, have pictures of your pet on your phone and computer. This way you have them ready whenever you need to post that your pet went missing.
Take different angles especially if they have special markings.
Do not include people and especially no children in the picture.
Also, for your own record, post in Notes on your phone the Tattoo and/or tag license number. It is good to have them handy when you call-in your missing pet to 311.
Don’t forget to give all this info to the person that is babysitting your pet while you are on vacation.
Time is of the essence when your pet goes missing, so do it now.
Take those pictures and make those notes!
It’s a good feeling knowing you are prepared, just in case.
